The Sass Hour is the dream of a young radiophile named Deja.
Deja's first real interest in radio began when she was 12-13 years old and found a wholesome family orriented station in New York WNEW to listen to. Every day after school she would listen to Opie and Anthony, Don and Mike and Ron and Fez. She would even blow off school to catch other shows on the station like The Radio Chick and the everchanging sports guys show.
As Deja grew older she became an active participant in the shows she listened to via instant feedback and calling the shows. Deja's favorite radio show was Ron and Fez they are her radio idols. One day she heard them mention an online radio station called radiobbq and it peaked her interest. Deja went to the website and the first show she heard was The Dan Wright show. Deja instantly clicked with Dan and they started a friendship. Deja developed a reputation for being the fasted google this side of the missisippi and became the shows east coast producer. Deja also developed a bit on the show called "As Deja's World Turns" in which Deja would discuss her love life and any other kind of drama she thought would be good radio, and it was. As Deja's World Turns developed quite a fan bas as did Deja herself. She quickly became part of all the other shows on the station and sort of the stations producer. If anyone needed anything Deja would get it done. Deja was also big in the PR department for the station and kicked ass in the push to help find new listeners. Deja continued to help out at the station until its close on October 12th 2005.
The end of radiobbq did not mean the end for Deja because as radiobbq closed the on air light for Thereisnoradio.com switched on. That change brought about new changes for Deja in late September Deja began doing her show called The Sass Hour (even though its more than an hour). To say the fans loved her was an understatement ( oh yes im an arrogant pre-madonna and what?). The show brought the listeners hillarious segments like thereisnorapping, terminal emocity, myspace are they gay, and deja's list personals.
